The Belo Horizonte City Hall Health Centers project, carried out through the Public-Private Partnership SPE Saúde BH and built by OEC – Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção, was the winner in the Health Care category of the Global Best Projects award, promoted by the US specialist magazine ENR. This is the 11th time that OEC has received the award, considered the Oscar of world engineering.
OEC – Odebrecht Engineering & Construction was elected one of the five best companies to work at in Brazil, according to the Best Place to Work 2019 award, promoted by the Infojobs site. OEC features in the top positions in three rankings: “General”, the “Construction” segment and the “CEO” category. The companies were evaluated from scores spontaneously awarded by people who currently work or have worked at the companies and had registered their curriculum vitae on the www.infojobs.com.br site, where the voting took place.
On July 9-13, OEC participated in the Luanda International Fair (FILDA) with an interactive booth where it promoted various rounds of conversations on topics such as Compliance, Environment, Social Responsibility, Competencies and Challenges in Engineering Careers and Power Generation by the Laúca Hydropower Plant. Visitors donned virtual reality glasses for a 360° close-up experience of construction works on the Laúca Dam, which is Angola’s largest power producer.
The North American magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR) recognized the São Paulo subway Line 5 section 7 as one of the best projects of 2018.
