Last Wednesday (30), the OEC’s Energy Business Director, Fernando Chein, was awarded with trophy “100 Most Influential People of the Energy Sector of the Decade”, honor granted by the specialized magazine Full Energy. The ceremony occurred at the Convention Center Rebouças, in São Paulo, with live broadcast through the YouTube.
At the same event, Bento Albuquerque, Minister of Mines and Energy; André Pepitone, Managing Director of ANEEL, Counter Admiral Carlos Henrique Silva Seixas, president of Nuclep; General Joaquim Silva e Luna, president of Petrobras; Fátima Bezerra, governor of Rio Grande do Norte; Paulo Roberto Ribeiro Pinto, CEO of Norte Energia, and others, received the same award.
“I feel extremely honored to be given this distinction. Being part of this select group brings the responsibility of always following the path of ethics, excellence, and hard work for the sustainable energy growth in the country”, said Chein in an interview given for the magazine to be published in July.
The “100 Most Influential of the Energy Sector” award exists since 2017, and it is produced by Grupo Mídia, responsible for the edition of Full Energy, and other titles. The winners are chosen by Grupo Mídia’s editorial board based on open voting through the website and market research.
