respeito transformaRespeito TransformaLast Tuesday (18), OEC launched the Respeito Transforma project through an opening live with the presence of CEO Mauricio Cruz. The project is an initiative aimed at developing the values present in Our Culture, as well as reinforcing our commitment to adopting practices to prevent and combat any situations of discrimination, intolerance and disrespect in our work environment, whether related to ethnicity/race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, social origin or any other characteristic.

Also present were the Managing Director of OEC Africa, Marcus Azeredo, and the Managing Director of OEC in Latin America, Pedro Pinheiro, as well as the special participation of the speaker Renato Santos, executive partner of S2 Consultoria and Co-founder of the Institute for Behavioral Risk Research (IPRC Brasil), and Luciana Secaf, R-Internal Auditing, who mediated the meeting.

The central theme of the live was combating harassment, with a focus on clarifying all types of impertinence in the workplace and reinforcing the use of the Ethics Line Channel for reporting whenever necessary. During the chat, a dynamic was proposed so that the more than 650 simultaneous viewers could take part in an online quiz on how to deal with cases of harassment at work.

At the end of the live, there was a question-and-answer session where members were able to answer questions and even make constructive comments on the subject.

This was just the first initiative in this very important project. Other actions will be carried out over the coming months with the aim of making it increasingly clear that the OEC does not tolerate harassment, discrimination or prejudice, in addition to the main focus that Respect Transforms.
