In July, OEC, together with Itaguaí Construções Navais (ICN) and the Submarine Development Project (Prosub), held training sessions on Integrity and Ethics at work. Priscilla Wornicow and Gabriel Cabral, from the Integrity area, led the process by holding conversation circles and presentations on the “Respect Transforms” program.
Around 200 ICN members took part in the “Prevention of Moral Harassment” training, which seeks to train and strengthen participants’ knowledge on the subject. At Prosub, 424 people were trained in the correct use of the Ethics Line Channel. The approaches were carried out through interactive activities, with videos and audios created by members of the OEC’s Integrity and Corporate Communications Teams.
Antônio Aparecido Azoia Ibarra, Prosub’s GAF, reported on the success of the program: “We would like to thank the entire OEC team for the days dedicated to lectures on the topic of the Ethics Line Channel, which was approached in a very didactic way, using the language of professionals working in the construction industry in the videos, which led the
participants to perceive the day-to-day reality of the work and to a better understanding of the topic. The contract’s P&O team has received a great deal of positive feedback from the various classes of participants, and I’m sure it will have many positive effects.”
This was the first training program carried out by OEC’s Integrity team in partnership with partner companies, and will serve as a starting point and example for further training in the future.
