Olivia, OEC’s ChatBot, receives Project of the Year 2023 award from Global CIO

Olivia, OEC’s ChatBot, has been named Artificial Intelligence Project of the Year 2023 by Global CIO, an IT community that brings together more than 10,000 professionals from over 50 countries.

Project of the Year is an annual competition that seeks to discover, consolidate and promote the best IT practices created by IT leaders around the world, fostering the sharing of experiences and recognition among professionals. In 2023, the award featured more than 70 projects from 15 countries and more than 50 CIOs (Chief Information Officers) took part in the competition.

OEC launches Multipliers Program

OEC now has a team of 45 Integrity representatives at the DS Brazil and DS Africa sites, who will join forces in the area's training and communication initiatives. All of them have been nominated and have shown interest in participating in the program.

Health centers in Belo Horizonte receive world’s top engineering award

The Belo Horizonte City Hall Health Centers project, carried out through the Public-Private Partnership SPE Saúde BH and built by OEC – Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção, was the winner in the Health Care category of the Global Best Projects award, promoted by the US specialist magazine ENR. This is the 11th time that OEC has received the award, considered the Oscar of world engineering.

Ranking points to OEC as the largest infrastructure construction company in the country

With gross operating revenue of R$4.8 billion, up 63% on last year, OEC came first among heavy infrastructure construction companies in the Ranking of Brazilian Engineering, produced and published by the specialist magazine O Empreiteiro. Tenenge, OEC’s subsidiary for the industrial assembly and maintenance segment, was named this year as the 8th largest in the country in its sector. The ranking, which is considered a benchmark for the sector, is widely recognized not only by companies, but also by public and private contractors, including infrastructure concessionaires.
